Meet Coco (Pops)

After a few hectic days, I have finally got round to uploading a pic of one of our new Guineas, here is Coco with one of my girls. I think they are both little cuties, but then I am gonna be biased!! Coco is 8 weeks old and last week came to live with us along with her sister Peanut (Butter) who is a bit camera shy! They have settled in well with Lola the Guinea that we already have, she thinks that she has had two babies!! If only it was that easy?!
We have all really enjoyed the sunshine today and with the kids playing happily (for once) in the garden I have managed to not only finish two custom orders, but I have also opened my Zibbet shop! I'm still working my way round it but it all looks good! I have also put my new shop banner and avatar on my Folksy shop. I think it's cool and it comes to me via the lovely Bonnita at "it's all about the graphics' She is one talented designer and I would thoroughly recommend her....think I just did??!!
Today has finished with two sales so it's been a good one for me!! M x

Macmillan Fundraising

I thought I would add these little Angels to my fundraising contributions for Kaz @ Buteartism. She is doing such a brilliant job raising much needed funds for the wonderful Macmillan nurses. These little Angels, along with my green bead mixes (in Mum4Beads) will hopefully add to Kaz's outstsanding efforts! Limited edition......get em while you can! M x

aah!

Today I took my two youngest to buy some pet supplies and came back with two (more) guinea pigs! We are now the proud owners of Coco (Pops) and Peanut (butter) two real little cuties! They have settled in well with Lola, who has been sad since Fizz died a couple of weeks ago.
My kids love animals (me too) and thankfully my lovely hubby is a softie and doesn't complain when there is a new mouth (or two) to feed! Our managerie has steadily grown over the past couple of years and I'm sure it will continue to do so!

I'm chuffed!

........cos I have just sold a pack of beads for Buteartism's Macmillan fundraising to the lovely FossDesign http://fossdesign.folksy.com

Only 2 packs left now so please take a look and support a great cause! M x

Phew!

I have finally finished a commission piece that has taken a while! Mainly due to the whole family going down with this awful bug that is sweeping through our area like wildfire! My hubby and kids are now better and I can devote a bit more time to jewellery as opposed to my 'Florence Nightingale' duties!! I have a valued customer who commissioned some pieces from me, having previously purchased from my Folksy shop, and I really wanted to get this particular design right for her, especially as she was very definite on the stones, mix of colours and overall feeling that the design would evoke.
Well here is the finished piece, a bracelet called 'Ocean Dreams'

'Ocean Dreams' combines Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise and Russian Amazonite gemstones which soothe, provide harmony and provide protection. It also feautures a mix of Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. I hope you like it and would love any feedback. M x
